2018 Chinese Holiday Calendar


The State Council last night released the official holidays for 2018 New Year’s, Spring Festival, Tomb-sweeping Day, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid Autumn Festival and National Day holiday. The specific holiday arrangements are as follows:


New Year, December 30 – January 1


Spring Festival: observed from February 15th to 21st, a total of 7 off-days. February 11th (Sunday) and February 24th (Saturday) are working days.


Tomb-sweeping Day: April 5th to 7th are holidays, a total of 3 days. Work on April 8th (Sunday).


Labor Day: Observed on April 29th to May 1st, a total of 3 days. Work on April 28th (Saturday).


Dragon Boat Festival: Observed on June 18th and following weekend.


Mid Autumn Festival: September 24th and weekends.



National Day: October 1st to 7th are holidays, a total of 7 days. September 29th (Saturday) and September 30th (Sunday) are working days.
